Embedded Systems Engineer

Wall-E

Design and optimize firmware for embedded systems, ensuring efficient real-time communication and integration with smart robotics.

Responsibilities & Tasks 

  • Develop firmware for sensors, microcontrollers & embedded AI 

  • Optimize power efficiency & real-time sensor integration.

  • General Responsibilities: Attend weekly/bi-weekly departmental & organizational RoboTUM meetings, as well as occasional spontaneous meetings as needed. Answer emails and messages within 24 hours (be comfortable using Slack). Adhere to RoboTUM policies and be willing to help when the team needs you

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Basic microcontroller programming skills

Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience with Raspberry Pi, Jetson, ESP32, STM32 

  • Strong grasp of I2C, SPI, UART, CAN protocols.

  • 6-10 hours/week
