IT Coordinator

Operations

Support RoboTUM's digital infrastructure by managing the website, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing internal systems.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Maintain, update, and optimize the club’s website. 

  • Assist team members with IT issues, including software, accounts, and hardware troubleshooting. 

  • Manage internal digital tools, cloud storage, and team communication platforms. 

  • Ensure proper access control, backups, and cybersecurity best practices.

  • General Responsibilities: Attend weekly/bi-weekly departmental & organizational RoboTUM meetings, as well as occasional spontaneous meetings as needed. Answer emails and messages within 24 hours (be comfortable using Slack). Adhere to RoboTUM policies and be willing to help when the team needs you

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with website management (e.g., WordPress, Wix, HTML/CSS, or similar platforms).

  • Familiarity with IT troubleshooting and basic system administration.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, Kotlin) 

Ideal Qualifications

  • Background in computer science, IT, backend/frontend web development, UI/UX design or related fields.

  • Experience with cloud services, databases, or cybersecurity. 

  • Familiarity with automation tools to streamline workflows  

Estimated Time Commitment

  • 3–6 hours per week, flexible
