📌 Note: The recruitment phase for this position will end on March 1st, 2025, so you can assist the current HR team with the selection and onboarding of next semester’s applicants
Responsibilities & Tasks
• Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
• Drive recruitment efforts through various channels (e.g., LinkedIn searches, targeted campaigns, in-person recruitment events, company collaborations)
• Coordinate recruitment phases and create streamlined processes for application intake, ensuring smooth transitions between application rounds
• Monitor initiative applications during the semester and provide support when staffing needs (e.g., a new mechanic for the humanoid team) arise
• Onboarding & Offboarding
• Oversee onboarding for new members, ensuring they receive necessary training, access to resources, and a warm welcome into the club
• Manage offboarding processes and maintain accurate records of member departures
• Member Engagement & Monitoring
• Track member availability, schedules, and satisfaction through regular check-ins and feedback surveys
• Organize engagement events and training sessions to bolster team morale and retention
• General Responsibilities
• Attend weekly/bi-weekly departmental & organizational RoboTUM meetings, as well as occasional spontaneous meetings as needed
• Answer emails and messages within 24 hours (be comfortable using Slack)
• Adhere to RoboTUM policies and be willing to help when the team needs you
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Prior involvement in student organizations or robotics teams
• Ability to track and analyze member engagement trends, or willingness to learn this skill
Ideal Qualifications
• Background in psychology, human resources, or related fields
• Experience with HR software, LinkedIn recruiting, and member databases
• Working experience in a robotics or technology-based startup

• Recruitment Growth: 30% increase in qualified applicants by April 30, 2025
• Retention Rate: 20% improvement in member retention
• Satisfaction Scores: 80%+ positive feedback from surveys

Average Weekly Time Commitment
• 2–4 hours per week, up to 10 hours/week during recruitment phases
